Station SS-07 is a monitoring location on Silver Bow Creek (SBC) underneath eastbound Interstate 90. SS-07 is also the last surface water station on SBC before it leaves the Butte Priority Soils Operable Unit (BPSOU). This station has been used to check the quality of water leaving the system. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has collected data at SS-07 since the early 1990s. The Atlantic Richfield Company also began collecting data at SS-07 in the late 1990s.

The results of significant system improvements including construction of the Butte Treatment Lagoons (2001) and construction of the Metro Storm Drain Sub-drain (April 2005) can be seen in the data at SS-07. The follow charts show the concentrations of Contaminants of Concern at SS-07 over time.
